The purpose of the hearings is for Upper Brushy Creek WCID to receive input from the public regarding the proposed tax rate for the tax year 2020.
The first public hearing is Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm. There will be a second public hearing to adopt the proposed tax rate on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm.
Your individual taxes may increase or decrease, depending on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property and the tax rate that is adopted.
